The plain-English terms for working with me. The details of each project (pages, features, price and timing) are agreed by email before work starts.

Free demos
A demo is free and comes with no obligation. If you don't go ahead, I won't use the demo for another business with your name, logo or content on it.
Prices and payment
- Prices are the ones on the services page unless we agree a different fixed price in writing.
- Half is paid before the build starts, and the rest before the site goes live.
- Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before I do it.
Changes
Each project includes two rounds of changes during the build. Further rounds, or new features, are quoted first.
Your content
You're responsible for the text, photos and logos you give me, and for having the right to use them. I'll tell you if something looks like it might cause a problem.
Ownership
Once the site is paid for in full, it's yours: the design, the code and the content. Your domain is registered in your name. I may show the finished site on my projects page unless you ask me not to.
Hosting and care
The monthly plan is paid monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. If you cancel, I'll help you move the site wherever you want it.
If a project stops
If either of us needs to stop a project, you pay for the work done so far and receive everything built up to that point. If no work has started, the deposit is refunded.
Liability
I'll do the work with reasonable care and skill and fix any mistakes in what I've built. My liability for a project is limited to the amount you've paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
