Who I am
This website is run by TC, trading as xtc.systems, based in Leeds, UK. I'm responsible for any personal information you send me. Contact: hello@xtc.systems.
This website doesn't track you
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. When you send the enquiry form, your answers are passed through Cloudflare (which hosts this site) and emailed straight to my inbox. They aren't stored on the website.
Like every website, the hosting provider may record basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser, in short-lived server logs to keep the site running and secure. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
What I collect
Only what you send me through the enquiry form or by email: usually your name, email address, business name, website and what you've told me about your project. If we work together, I'll also keep the details needed to deliver the work and invoice you.
Why I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a demo or quote
- To deliver the work we've agreed, and to send invoices
- To keep the records the law requires for a business
The legal basis is either taking steps you've asked for before a contract, performing our contract, or a legal obligation (for financial records).
Who sees it
Only me. I don't sell or share your information. Cloudflare delivers enquiry form messages, and my email provider stores the messages we exchange.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted within 12 months of our last contact. Project and invoice records are kept for as long as the law requires for business records, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how it's used. Email me and I'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
